I understand that you may want to configure your Windows XP client to
automatically log on using the account "User2". If I misunderstood, please
feel free to let me know.
Kaylene's suggestion should help to achieve this goal. From your last
reply, it appears that Windows XP client logs on automatically using a
incorrect account. Thus, I would like to confirm whether you type the user2
account and the corresponding password when you are prompted to choose the
account for automatic logon. You may re-try the steps as Kaylene's
suggestion and input the user2 acount and password when are prompted and
test the this issue again. If the behavior is not the one you need, would
you please describe your requirements in detail? Your efforts are
appreciated!
In the meantime, I would like to confirm whether the "first boot up screen"
in your post means the Welcome Screen. If so, I am afraid that the Welcome
Screen will not appear if you enable auto-logon on the client.
If there is anything unclear of if you have any concerns, please feel free
to post back!

| Thanks for the help Kaylene/ I have struggled with this for the last
week, my system was nearly as you descibed, after a little rummaging , a
pop up asked which user I wanted to log on first and this solved my 'login
Problem' see earlier post in list, same date;-

'User2' , (with full Admin rights) but this login does not appear on the
first screen although it is in the 'Users' list. Therefore I have to
immediatly 'logoff' from this first screen and then the option appears to
login under 'User2' on the next screen, whereupon my settings are loaded.
What a nuisance to logoff to logon!
How can I get all the users to appear on the first boot up screen or better
still how can I get automatic boot into 'User2' so I do not have to mess
about with login etc. I am a single user with 2 computers on an
occasional network. (although XP might think otherwise) Help most
appreciated.
