Okay, I know what I am doing first off so don't give me
and crap answers like "reset the password." I am in
charge of the computers here at the small company for
which I work and I recently set a farily secure password
of the Router, Printer all administrator accounts etc,
but I have completely forgotten what it is (it is one of
like 15 that I commonly use which sucks because of my
*** memory.) I could just do a reset on the computers,
but that makes it hard to access the router or the linux
box or the printer. If worse comes to worse, I can take
care of the linux box and router, but I need to get into
the printer's shell so that I can fix something.
According to HP there is no way to get in without a $1500
service call. I know that I will know which pass it is
if I were able to see the last digits (my first 4 chars
are the same for all of my secure pass's except one, as
dumb as that is.) Is there any way that I can recover
it, or am I boned with the service call which WILL be
taken out of my paycheck (work is pissed.)
