why is Mspmspsv.exe now showing up on one of my computers

All of sudden this file started showing up on my computer
in task manager so I did some checking and it is listed
in services wmdm pmsp service but does not give a reason
for it.
Checking on yahoo it shows it is for windows media player
seven but I do not have seven I have nine. Could it be a
virus of some kind. I nenamed the file and stopped the
service.
