At the risk of the even more "double-speak" let me clarify my reason for
posting the reply .

People often ask for specifics on features in the next release. The
original poster wanted very specific details including a confirmation on if
the feature would be included in the Word interface.

As a rule Microsoft will not confim. However, if Microsoft were to ignore
every such question with not even an acknoledgement that we saw the post,
it would be even more frustrating to the poster.

While Microsoft maintains a long-standing policy of not commenting on
features in unreleased products, we have remind people of this fact
occasionally to let them know that we are listening to them, not ignoring
them, and also to remind others who read posts in a public forum that if
such questions are asked (future features) they will not recieve
confirmation from Microsoft in that forum. Hopefully this achieves two
things:

1. Lets people know that we are in the communities and do care about what
people are discussing and
2. Occasionally reminding people that they should not expect to get
confirmation on questions that have been and continue to be out-of-bounds.
