If you add this site to 'trusted sites' zone it will normally work.
in IE - Tools>Internet Options>Security tab>select 'trusted sites' zone>click sites - type exact url eg. http://us.my.yahoo.com/ make shure you uncheck "require server varification" then add site.
then set this zone to default level.

WARNING - > only add sites you truly trust to this area!

This will allow cookies to any trusted site.
Go site design will not compromise your personal info with a cookie, I think we can trust Microsoft, Yahoo for example to do it right.
