free anti-keylogger

I recently downloaded a file that i believe had an
keylogger (also known as trojan) in the file. I tried
multiple ways of deleting the file and finally succeeded
but my Symnatec keeeps sending messages for some reason
which it never did before I downloaded the file. If
anybody knows of a good anti-keylogger that is free I
would greatly appreciate it.
