I get the following event error, every time I turn on my computer:
Your computer has automatically configured the IP address for the Network
Card with network address xxE0xxxxxE1F. The IP address being used is
xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx

.When I go to Microsoft to look for an explanation, this is what I find:

      We're sorry
There is no additional information about this issue in the Error and
Event Log Messages or Knowledge Base databases at this time. You can use the
links in the Support area to determine whether any additional information
might be available elsewhere.

Has anyone else encountered this error event? Is there something I need to
do to fix it, or at least stop it from making an entry if indeed there is
nothing wrong?
Its just annoying to me when I find any error in my event logs. I can live
with the ones I find that are explained by Microsoft as errors by design and
explained as something I do not need to do anything about, but when I find
some like the above with no information, it bothers me.
Anyone have any ideas to help?
Thanks for your expert replies.
