Go to your Screensaver tab in Display Properties and remove the
check next to "on resume, display Welcome Screen".

| I finally added a limited user to my XP Home system in addition to my
| own administrator account. Fast User Swithcing is on and the Registry
| DefaultUserName is my name thus bypassing the Welcome Screen on boot up.
|
| From either account, when the system goes into standby and
| returns after a key press, I get the Welcome Screen asking me to choose
| which account to use. Seems to me that the system should know which
| account was active and return to that account on being brought out of
| Standby. Am I wrong about that? What do I need to do to get the system
| to bypass the Welcome Screen and return to the account which was active
| before going to standby.
|
| Thank you for any help on this.
