XP Port 1025

Port 1025 on my brothers XP Pro is "open" (per Shield Up
scan).

The only way I've found to close this port is to diable
the Task Manger Service. When Task Manager is diabled,
the port scan shows 1025 as "stealthed".

The problem is that my brother needs (wants?) to use the
Task Manager functionality for AV auto updates, etc.

Can anyone tell me how to have 1025 closed without
diabling Task Manager?

Any insight will be greatly appreciated.

Wes H
