Ctrl + alt + del does nothing

When my user hits ctrl + alt + del, nothing happens. It
is profile specific, so when I log on administratively, it
works and the default user profile is fine. I deleted his
profile and recreated, and it fixed teh problem for a
couple of days, but then the same thing happened again. I
have no idea what is causing the problem, but it is too
much of a hassle to rebuild his profile weekly, so I need
to get to the bottom of the problem. Any ideas?
