we have a total of 8 users needing to do this and it is thru american
express. i talked with them and they have to have the active x control
because it downloads a java console to allow them to read their expenses.
once i log in as admin and do this it works for a few days until they change
the file on the site... then i have to go in and redownload it again so they
can continue to work. so the activex is changing and they wont send it to me
they only implement it thru website

pre-install (deploy) that prticular ActiveX on systems in your Domain and
than allow execution of the scripts through Group Membership rather then
allow everyone to download and install ActiveX (not a wise solution by ANY
means - this is not what a "wise admin" does!).

download/install ActiveX - if the problem happens repeatedly for the same
user on the same workstation that often means that all this user needs is to
have "Active scripting" enabled (regardles of the "generic" error message IE
pops-up).

Domain wide regardless of which way you go (from ways outlined above).
