Digital Certificates and Mandatory Profile conflict

I am having a problem with digital certificates and
mandatory profiles. To make it short, I just cant get
them to work. We use roaming mandatory profiles. I set
up a default profile and install the certificate. I can
get to the website with no problem. I change the
ntuser.dat to ntuser.man in the profile, when I go to the
website it seems as though it just can not find the
website. I can find every other site, but the message it
displays is one in which the dns server times out.

I hope this explains the problem clearly. Any
documentation of any kind on either of these topics would
help.
