Start -> Help and Support
search for:
simple file sharing
There should be one there about "Display the Security tab" -> click on it.
It will tell you how to disable this.
Why, you might ask? Well this web page:

Explains Simple File Sharing fairly well. Particularly this part:
"Remote users always authenticate as the Guest account"
So.. This is what you DON'T want. Look at this article for a little more

The basic steps to disable Simple File Sharing are:
1. Click Start then click on My Computer.
2. At the top of the My Computer window click on Tools then click on Folder
Options.
3. In the Folder Options window click on the View tab.
4. Under Advanced Settings scroll down to the bottom and the last option
will be "Use simple file sharing (Recommended)". Uncheck this option.
5. Click Ok to apply settings and close this window.
6. The next time you check the properties of a folder you will see a
Security tab and NTFS permissions if you are running a NTFS file system.
Of course, I think that is only valid for XP Professional.
Unfortunately, XP Home Edition doesn't allow you to disable Simple File
Sharing and is unable to join a domain, so the best you can hope for is to
make sure you set your shared folders to be read only, hide the file shares
by using a $ sign after the folder name, or if your using the NTFS file
system, use the 'Make Private" option in the folder properties.

As it was commented that works on another thread - I leave it to you! (The
x86 (Intel) Version - in case you wonder..)
BTW - I noticed you gave your email (it looks real enough) - if so, expect
some spam increase in your inbox. Some may look like they are from
Microsoft, 99% of them will not be.. Never install patches unless you
downloaded them from a reliable source.
