I have users upgraded from W2K SP4 to WinXP SP1. However,
I have found several software that will produce errors in
Windows XP with users who do not have local admin rights
to their PCs. The same software will run fine with local
admin rights in Windows XP. These software work fine all
the time in Windows 2000. Software types: MGI Photosuite
IIISE, Fiery Remote Scan, World Time Clock, Paperport 7.
Some people suggested it might be a device driver issue.
However, these software work fine when users have local
admin rights. Seems to be a rights issue perhaps. Anyone
else experienced these problems? Any ideas? THanks in
advance.
