hi,
sorry to hear about your prob, but it is constantly
happening to millions of users, and although programm's
are available to help reduce pop-up ect they are not
100% ,
Get STOPzilla, this has helped me a little, however, when
you download programes or go onto certain sites, they
automaticly install software, which we dont want or need.
delete the ones you can with control panle. the others
manualy delete them, then search files/folders to see if
they are still around. Dont forget to empty recycle bin
OFTEN, do a disc clean up every couple of days, and a
DEFRAGMENT every week. this should help get rid of most
of those nasty adds and files. or download AVG Anti
virus, this will help get rid of corrupt files ect also
try POP UP STOPPER, at www.panicware.com this is free,
it helps a little. you can also goto www.diamondcs.com
for wormguard, these are free so worth trying. If you
want one that realy works then you will have to buy on,
but like i said non of them are 100%. so get as many free
ones as you can and as many trials as you can. or join a
peer to peer website, ( a free one ) and download free
ones even good ones, this is illeagle, but it is up to
you if you want to risk it..... a free one is
www.grokster.com make sure you get the free one.
good luck...
