I received an email with "Pack1942.exe" from MS, why?

I received an email from MS this evening from Microsoft Program Security Center ...it had an attachment for "Pack1942.exe" which was infected with the "W32.Swen.A@mm" virus. I get my regular updates thru my automatic updater..this email has all the links coming right to the MS site. I am baffled by this. :(
