Hi,

I'm running a Windows XP Professional on my computers which are
members of a workgroup.
When I try to offer remote assistance to another system of the
workgroup, I get a 'Permission denied' message.
On all computers of the network, I configured enabled "offer remote
assistance" in the group policies but I'm not sure what to enter un de
"Helpers" window.
I tried both <username> and <computername>\<username> but this works
only if the users logged on both systems have the same username. I
tried also to enters "administrators" but the problem is that I can't
enter a user of enother computer in the local administrators group of
a system.
Is there something I missed or do I have to add a domain controller to
my network in order to have a unique account database?
Many thanks in advance to anyone who can help.

Marc
