It sounds like you may have a hardware problem. Usual suspects are
overheating cpu, flaky or inadequate power supply, flaky ram, poorly seated
pci/agp cards or ide cables. Check that the cpu fan is spinning fast and
that the fan/heatsink are clean. If you need to clean it use compressed air
in a can that you can but just about anywhere. --- Steve
