Error Message on Startup

Using XP Home, when I start the PC and windows is loading (approaching the
welcome screen), an error message comes up saying that the password is
incorrect etc etc. (an old style of login window appears greyed out in the
background [OWNER is the greyed out login name]). But when I hit OK, the
welcome screen comes up and all is ready for me to login. Could it be
related to me changing the admin account name from OWNER to my name. It
seems to be still looking for the OWNER login and passwod. I have tryed
changing the admin account name back to OWNER but didn't fix it.

Any suggestions?
