Hi-
I am running Windows XP 2002 Home addition (with
separately loaded Excel and Powerpoint software)on my
laptop - Windows 98 on my desktop. I access the internet
for my laptop via remote wireless modem (D-Link) that
communicates with a D-Link router and Verizon DSL on my
desktop. I use both Outlook and Outlook express for e-
mail.

If I download SP3 to my laptop, will that impose firewall
or other communication barriers that could interfere with
my remote access to the DSL service on my desktop? (Hope
the question is clear ... I'm no expert!)

Thanks

Tom Behr
