Call Microsoft (it should have given a phone number if
you had trouble installing) and tell them the story
(reformatted) and they'll give you a new code for
intallation.

AS for the virus if Norton can't fix it it should
quarentine it if you select that option and you can then
send it to Norton for evaluation(options box)
