Advapi.dll 'network service' log entry

Does anybody know exactly what function this service call
performs? We thought we had a security issue over the
weekend because simultaneous with this event, certain
profile folders in Documents and Settings have their
timestamp updated as well. Any input would be
appreciated. Thanks.
