The solution is to
1. visit the software company website to see if they
    have an update that makes their software comply
    with Windows logo specifications
2. if they do not, email the company to express your
    discontent and future buying preferences for logo
    certified software only
3. then, make the software work as a limited account
    To do this, first try granting the Users group the
    ability to write into the softwares installation area.
    Say the software is at
    C:\Program Files\Company\Game Name
    Run a cmd prompt and enter
    cacls "C:\Program Files\Company\Game Name" /e /t /g Users:C
    If that is insufficent, then the program may need permissions on
    its keys in the registry changed so Users can write to them, or
    it may be trying to access elsewhere.
    Any good company by this point in time should have directions
    on the changes needed (actually they should have an update out
    if the software is not old software)
