Hi Folks,
I have two registry items that start-up from my Win XP
registry.
They are:
HKEY_Classes_Root\htafile\shell\open\command (mshta.exe "%
1"%")
Hkey_local_Machine\Software\CLASSES\htafile\shell\open\com
mand(mshta.exe "%1"%")
It is my understanding that mshta.exe is a valid Windows
component that allows scripting to run. Would this
scripting operation be a security concern to me when
using the internet?
I would like a qualified answer please.
Thank you,
Jim
