I have 2 computers. One is running XP Home edition
(desktop). The other is running Windows 2000 Pro
(laptop). When I try to access the laptop from the
desktop, I am prompted to enter a password (which I
want). However, when I try to access the desktop (say a
file), it allows me to go there directly. I want to be
able to enter in a username and/or password of some kind
so that only the person that knows that info can get into
the other computer.
Any idea how to set a password for networking in the XP
Home? Will creating a simple user password on the login
screen be the same security so the other computer can't
just access file easily.
Please advise! Thanks!
