I have a desktop as my primary and a laptop as my "take
to a client's office" PC. In case my laptop is lost or
stolen I want to encrypt all my clients' folders on my
laptop.
Everything I've read so far indicates I can't copy my
clients' folders from my desktop to my "encrypted folders
laptop" modify various files, within the encrypted
folders, at a client's site, then copy them back to my un-
encrypted desktop and read them.
If I'm right, this makes sense from a security point of
view. I was just wondering if there is any way of solving
this problem other than de-crypting the laptop's folders
every time I come back home and encrypting them again
when I leave?
