Thanks for any advice you can provide.
I read recently on Yahoos news that Microsoft had freebie
security enhancements available through it's site. I
logged in and clicked sufficient options to have
Microsoft tell mee that there were fixes available for my
home XP system. I initiated the downloads and the whole
process chugged for about an hour... I have a 128k cable
connection...my question: given that the fix, download
and install took so long, how can I be sure that I got
them all? Supplemental question would be: is the
Microsoft system that recognized my XP system from my
login clever enough to know which updates I already have
installed?
Cheers,
David.
