I truly hope someone can help with this mess. My husband
was admin of our computer. I also was set up as admid. he
deleted his and sent some of his files to my desktop. I
set him back up on a new user account but...nothing works
on his screen. When we try to open up a file, the box
above states (windows can not locate the user profile). I
was instructed on how to copy user data to a new user
profile and how to take over ownership of a file or
folder. I was told to set the computer in safe mode by
restarting and pushing several times F8 untill I got a
display. I am not getting anything on my screen. It just
boots me back up to where I was. Ok, so what am I doing
wrong that I can't get into safe mode? PLEASE HELP....
