the easiest way is to log into the built in account called
administrator. The password is probably blank.
Then, from there, open the control panel, user manager
thingy. Chose advanced on any buttons until it stops
trying to give you the weak, watered down adminstrative
stuff and the real user manager appears. set your login
for the account you normally use to be a member of the
administrator group.
Sorry I'm not very precise. Since NT4 went away and me,
2k, and xp have come to confuse the issues (2k is actually
very good) the instructions for everything have all got
minor varients and I forget the details. You should see it
easily enough though...
