Hi:
I'm trying to clean up my C-drive and I noticed a bunch
of folders located in the "C/documents and settings"
folder.
I've listed them below. My questions are 1) do I need
all of them? I mean do I need a "D&S/new", "D&S/owner"
and "D&S/default user" folders?
2) Shouldn't the "temp" and "temporary internet files"
folders be emptied when I shut down?
Here is a basic example of the folders:
c:/documents and settings/new/localsettings/temp (with
bunch of folders like "_ISTMP1.dir"; "{BOF48CF1-526F-
...." and "bye1c.tmp")
c:/documents and settings/new/localsettings/temporary
Internet Files (filled with .jpg, .gif and other internet-
type files).
C:/documents and settings/owner/local settings/Temproray
Internet Files/Content.IE5 (with a bunch of other folders)
c:/documents and settings/Default User/local settings/temp
c:/documents and settings/Default User/local
settings/temporary internet files/content/IE5/ (another
bunch of folders)
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks.
