Auto Update (XP) Keeps Reloading

The security update (823559: Security Update for
Microsoft Windows) first appeared on Thursday, August
28th. I ran the update and rebooted. The automatic update
feature has since prompted me to run the same update on
Friday, Saturday, Sunday and this morning (Monday, Sept.
02).

Does anyone know why my system is not recognizing this
update and repeatedly prompting me to update the same
security update?

Please reply if you know why.
