I am a PC tech in a repair shop and a client's PC was
infected with the blaster virus. It was successfully
removed, and the security patch was installed, however I
also am receiving the same error as Mr. Velasco is. On
trying to install the XP Service Pack 1 update from
windowsupdate.microsoft.com the "Access denied" error is
shown. I have searched both the MS Knowledge base and
technet without any luck. Help would be appreciated. On
a side note: The customer is upset at the number of
problems and viruses aimed at microsoft windows users, it
was stated if we can not find a solution to this service
pack problem, they was Mandrake 9 installed .
