She disabled the firewall and anti-virus software to speed up downloading
music? I would disable her privileges for as long as it takes you to put
your computer back together again.
Before you start: Make sure you backup every file and folder that is
important to you, because you're about to wipe out everything on your
computer and start fresh. Do not reload your backup until you have scanned
it for viruses. Also: Record any registration numbers from your software;
you will probably need to enter them when you re-install the software.

You should also go to the technical support area of your computer vendor,
for any tips and advice that may be specific to your computer.
You will, of course, need to re-install, re-configure and update all your
software and hardware.
P.S. The presence of a firewall and antivirus software does not affect the
speed of downloading.
