Cannot Delete User Group

Hello,

I installed vs.net 2003 on my XP workstation and then uninstalled
vs.net 2002, which removed the ASPNET user group. However, when I try
to re-add the group, it says it cannot be added because it still
exists.

The group does not display in the user group manager. I have tried to
remove it from the command prompt, but I get this error:

 C:\Documents and Settings\Gerald2>net localgroup asnpet /delete
 System error 1789 has occurred.

 The trust relationship between this workstation and the primary
domain failed.

Any idea how I can delete this group, so I can re-add it or just fix
the group?
