If your hard drive is formatted with NTFS, you could use its built-in
security to set up the access restrictions. Still it won't let you
assign passwords to individual files or applications. If you need that,
you may want to take a look at our software Folder Guard that works with
both NTFS and FAT disks, and lets you assign passwords to individual
files, folders, and applications:
