Pop Ups

I understand that I will get pop ups from time to time.
However, we are getting porn and gambling pop-ups
continuously while surfing. I suspect my kids did
something and I installed the McAfee Privacy app. However,
half of the problem is still there. I still get all the
pop ups, but now they are hidden by a McAfee screen. The
pop ups are still as annoying. Anything I can do to find
out how to stop getting the gambling and porn pop ups?
Should I reinstall XP completely?
