shutting down problem

Hi, I have a problem with my computer and I think it is a
virus. The computer is shutting down after a while, first
after a few minutes and then it works longer but after
some time it shuts down again after about 3 hours. Could
you explain for me step by step what to do with this
problem. I do not know much about computers and it is
very difficult for me to to it. Thank you.
