Since it is the first time, go and scan and load all updates. Then when a
new one comes out check to see if is properly downloaded.
Also check your settings in windowsupdate
please go to http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com/
on the left clidk on personalize windows update. Here you can choose how to
set windows update to automate tasks to the level that you feel comfortable.
You can decide at the time something is available or have it done
automatically.
Mine is always set to automatic on all my home machines.
