It is definitely the worm. try to boot using last good
configuration. If the computer posts into windows, log on
the internet and go to microsoft support and follow
instructions regarding msblast worm removal. WHen your
system pops up with the countdown message follow these
steps
1) click start button
2) click run button
3) type shutdown -a in the run window
4) press enter
this procedure will terminate the countdown process and
give you time to download the patch
