you are welcome :)
i am just happy my puter finally works like when i first
got it. hearing that "good evening tanya" to msn was
like music. haven't been able to "really" log into msn
since last december.
i went through all that stuff in december of last year.
never got fixed with hours on tech support. finally
downloaded netscape and could get to secure sites that
way. and thought "well seems to be working, kinda"
then tried security update and got same update.inf error
looked at fixes, saw the same things, tried them again,
and thought "oh heck. not going through that again."
but anyway i am just soooo glad nicholas's solution
worked.
