Re: Integrity of update.inf. Cryptographic service isnt running ?

I'm having the same problem, and it's because i DISABLED
RPC in the control panel.admin tools.services. Now i
can't ENABLE RPC because the control panel needs one of
RPC's dependent services to run the properties page to re-
enable RPC (classic circular reference problem).

So, anyone out there know what registry entries i can
tweak to enable RPC on my computer? I can't figure it
out, and don't have another XP machine handy to do a
before and after shot of the registry.

Help! (a number of people are bumping up against this)!

Note that re-installing XP doesn't work, b/c it requires
the crypto service to be running to ensure that the XP
Setup files are legit.
