After virus kept shutting down XP, I followed advise from
att.net, who helped me install a firewall, and downloaded
a lot of fixes offered by Microsoft. Then I telephoned
Microsoft Word Help for a double-check and the automatic
response told me to download a security patch for XP from
microsoft.com/downloads/ I started to do this and,
halfway through, received a windowed message that the
download did not match the version of Windows installed
in my computer. Microsoft Word Help is jammed. Is there
something else I could do now to continue working?
