Nice of you to reply to Kevin, for a message posted by Karl....

You need to learn how to use newsgroups properly, you along with an
incredible number of others, who keep posting the same problem and/or
purported fixes (many of which are quite incomplete.)

The fact is that the information on how to fix your computer is _easily_
and _widely_ available, on this set of newsgroups, etc., and it does NOT
require a great deal of time to find the information.

For example, you can go to Google Groups and do a search there, which
will show you all sorts of messages related directly to the query you
made. That's simple, whereas your positing that you have to scroll
through the thousands of messages is neither simple nor correct.

On top of that, your reply to "Kevin's" message was to a set of messages
that had the very information that you are probably seeking: Click on
the links that Karl has provided, and "Lafayette, nous voici."
