Being dumped out into a reboot is not a normal behavior
of group policy no matter what setting have been made.
This is ofter the symptom of failing hardware (ex. memory)
or incompatible software (especially software that installs
drivers).
Try going into your properties of my computer, and on the
Advanced tab, click Setting in the Startup and Recovery panel,
and then uncheck the Automatically reboot option for System
failure behaviors. This will leave you with a screen of info
the next time this happens, and from the info on that screen
it is often possible to diag what is the cause of the abend.
