Hi everyone;

I am a local administrator of a PC on a domain. The
domain level group policy is overwritting my local grouop
policy settings. Is there a way to prevent this?

If I use System Restore and go back to a point before the
domain settings were introduced, and disconnect the
netowrk cable before boot-up, I get my local Group Policy
settings enforced. Several hours after plugging the
cable back in, the domain level policies overwrite my
local ones.

This happens despite the fact that I ENABLE 'Turn off
background refresh of Group Policy'.

I have the power to use Actvie Directory to block group
policy inheretance in my OU but don't think my supervisor
would be too pleased if I did that.

Is there a way I can block domain level group policy from
taking over local settings on my PC?

Thanks!
