I'm getting an error message when trying to create rules
in Outlook indicating that there is a problem with file
permissions. Error message occurs when create button is
pressed and states that rule cannot be created. Message
says to check file permissions. If I use the wizard to
create a rule, it works fine.

I'm using Windows XP and have applied all updates.
Outlook version is 2002. To attempt to fix this problem,
I've made the folder where the Outlook files are stored
shared... I've even considered making the whole disk
shared since I'm the only user on the machine and it is on
a lan in my house networked to a Unix box and a Mac, but
I'd like to fix the problem properly and I don't think
that's the real issue.

Thanks for any help you can provide. I searched the
knowledge base and can't find any info specific to this
problem.
