pop ups

Recently I've been getting constant pop ups from some
message service saying that my computer security is wide
open, and wants me to click on their stop pop up link.
Its really frustrating cause when I'm playing a game on
my computer this s%*t pops up and it boots me from my
game. I've tried going into internet options and changing
my cookies but this won't go away. I appreciate any input
to help me with this, thanks a lot.
