You can disable the messenger service for now ...but as others suggested,
you should look into getting a firewall (ie: LinkSys BEFSX41 - check
www.amazon.com). There will be an update to from Microsoft to correct this
as it's not a flaw. Broadcast messaging can be quite useful.
