How does everyone else out there set up the "ideal"
Default User profile for deployment in a corporate
environment.
I don't know the details why down to a granular level, but
I know that it's best to copy user profiles using the app
in My Computer/Properties/Advanced or whatever it is in XP.
But you can't copy to "Deafult User" - so is all the
proper info getting there? Most of the time (setting up
my ideal user, then manually copying w/hidden/system
files) has worked just fine, but just recently I found an
anomoly, which is why I ask (it may be totally unrelated
to this).
Just curious as to how others are doing it. Also, one of
the pains is that you can't set up Machine-specific
printers - a big pain, that would be very nice to make a
part of a Default User profile.
Thanks,
Mike
