I have a user account that gives the following errors in
the Event Viewer when you logon:

----------Error 01------------
Event Type: Error
Event Source: Userenv
Event Category: None
Event ID: 1508
Date: 8/29/2003
Time: 2:06:21 PM
User: NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM
Computer: PHOTO01
Description:
Windows was unable to load the registry. This is often
caused by insufficient memory or insufficient security
rights.

DETAIL - The process cannot access the file because it
is being used by another process. for C:\Documents and
Settings\Student\ntuser.dat

For more information, see Help and Support Center at
http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/events.asp.

-----------Error 02-------------
Event Type: Error
Event Source: Userenv
Event Category: None
Event ID: 1502
Date: 8/29/2003
Time: 2:06:24 PM
User: PHOTO01\Student
Computer: PHOTO01
Description:
Windows cannot load the locally stored profile. Possible
causes of this error include insufficient security rights
or a corrupt local profile. If this problem persists,
contact your network administrator.

DETAIL - The process cannot access the file because it
is being used by another process.

For more information, see Help and Support Center at
http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/events.asp.

-----------Error 03-------------

Event Type: Error
Event Source: Userenv
Event Category: None
Event ID: 1515
Date: 8/29/2003
Time: 2:06:24 PM
User: PHOTO01\Student
Computer: PHOTO01
Description:
Windows has backed up this user's profile. Windows will
automatically try to use the backed up profile the next
time this user logs on.

For more information, see Help and Support Center at
http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/events.asp.

-------------Error 04-------------

Event Type: Error
Event Source: Userenv
Event Category: None
Event ID: 1511
Date: 8/29/2003
Time: 2:06:24 PM
User: PHOTO01\Student
Computer: PHOTO01
Description:
Windows cannot find the local profile and is logging you
on with a temporary profile. Changes you make to this
profile will be lost when you log off.

For more information, see Help and Support Center at
http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/events.asp.

--------------End of Errors----------------------

What's more is that if I try to copy the profile under
the administrator account I get this following error:

----
Failed to set Security on the Destination Profile.
Error - The process cannot access the file because it is
being used by another process.
----
It makes no sense that this file is in use by another
process as I am logged on as Administrator. In the User
Profiles window the status of that account displays
as 'Backup'. There is also another account,
named 'Account Unknown' of exactly the same size with the
same modification date. So I guess my question is why is
this happening and how can I fix it so that the user
account will work correctly as expected?
